So i built my first rig few days ago, everything seamed fine until I noticed my cpu fan speeding up and down too often by just light gaming. I did some temp test and they were up the roof. Tried re-applying thermal paste using P method making sure not to apply too much. I did it 3-4 times and the results were the exact same. Here is a short video I made testing it. Everything is in stock except RAM which is on XMP at 3200. Any Ideas on how to determine the cause ?

24°C is the max

1.26V is not enough to drive the temps to 90C with any cooler.

Either the cooler is not seated correctly (using the correct stand offs for your application?) or the board is not reporting temps correctly.

You're running more voltage than you need to run.  I'm testing mine in the same manner as you right now to see how low 4.5 GHz can be done while still passing Prime95 Small FFTs.  I'm at 1.152v at the moment and still dropping.

I understand but  what Knight said about 1.26 not being enough to put any cooler to 90° makes sense. Remember everything is at stock. I'm gonna try to remove and re-apply paste and cooler. If it doesn't work I guess I'll have to buy another cooler cause i don't know how else to see if its my MB not reporting the right temps.

Oh, I definitely agree that you have more issues at hand then just voltage.  I just pointed it out as I don't like running any additional voltage then necessary to complete a task.  Interestingly, your stock voltage is higher than mine and I lot of the 7700k CPUs I've tested.  I think it was 1.264v or around that whereas closer to 1.2v seems to be the norm.

Anyways, 1.152v runs fine.  Don't compare temps as we're using completely different cooling solutions.  Just showing you that 1.26v shouldn't be necessary.  Kaby Lake runs warmer than Skylake at the same voltage, but requires quite a bit less voltage to do the same thing.  If you were to compare work outputted, temps would be the same at the same work load.
