PSU Cable compatibility

Oi

I have a Corsair RM650x on the way in mail, and I got a question about the cables. I have a set of the large premium braided cable kit from corsair that fits the AX, AXi and all those. It also fits the RM series, but not the RMx. I know some of the cables like the CPU cable or MOBO 24pin are very specific to some PSU lineups from corsair, but I was wondering if I can use one of those PCI-e cables, if they were also proprietary or if the RM cable just for the PCI will fit in an RMx PSU?

I'd ask Corsair support. 

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
