Mafia 3 PC Fixed?

Johnsmith45

I was wondering if the pc version of mafia 3 been fixed yet after all the game is like £15. If it has not been fixed yet can someone recommend an open world game? I know there's watch dogs 2 but I am waiting for the price to come down. I have already played all the gta games, witcher 3, Assassins creed, Batman games, Sleeping dogs, tomb raider.

I read and watched plenty of reviews, and frankly, it seems the game is just all around shit. Missions and optimization, oh and bugs. Haven't seen anything to indicate that it's "fixed"
As for recommendations.
Fallout games.
Dark Souls games.
I hear the new Ghost Recon is pretty good, although I no longer trust Ubisoft.
Dying Light
Borderlands games.
Mad Max is good. If you like the combat from Batman, then this is really good too. I prefer the combat in Mad Max as you can't just spam, plus the hist feel much heavier.
Rage. I played it when I was a console gamer and liked it, I don't think it's the best game, but it's pretty good, can probs get it really cheap.

Some are not full on open world but rather large zones, but there all really good imo and worth a play.

I tried the closed and open beta for ghost recon, pretty trash IMO.

I'd second the recommendation of Dark Souls, and also add in Nier: Automata. I am absolutely in love with that game so far.

What specifically do you mean by "fixing" Mafia 3? What fix do you want?

Well then, that doesn't really surprise me. Ubisoft are great and making games look like they're going to be amazing and the release boring shit haha.

The game launched with a 30 FPS cap, but I know that was patched out within a few days of release.

Here's a bit of information about what the PC version supports or doesn't support, known issues, etc:

Haven't tried that yet. Last Ubi game I played was The Division, which I played for about 3 days and got bored.
Keep wanting to play siege, but burnt out from FPS games (multiplayer). Desync is my go to FPS at the minute.

Game reviews usually take place within the first few weeks of the game being released not several months later.

Those are not links to reviews. The PC Gaming Wiki article in particular is probably kept reasonably up to date.

I'm aware the PC Gamer article is from around the game's release. But it seems to conclude that the biggest issue even back in October of 2016 was the locked framerate which was quickly fixed, and some performance issues for some people that just about every big release from a major publisher these days seems to have.

The second link is to PC Gaming Wiki. Since it's a wiki, the components of the article are theoretically kept up to date by its community members when a change is needed. The article as a whole is therefore not dated. Again, it seems to suggest that most of the technical issues the game has on PC are minor and/or fixable using the methods explained in the article, and it appears to me that it has most of the required components to be a playable PC release. I don't think it matters whether that's new information or old information, frankly.

Since I still don't know precisely what you're looking to be fixed, I linked those in the hopes you'd find the answers you need.
