So as you can tell me favorite color is blue and black and I am wanting to make a nice PC as this will be my first rig ever made from the ground up. I want the computer to complement with blue parts while sporting Intel and Nvidia parts. I am sticking in the $1000 range and I want to be able to play game as very high graphics. Can anyone help me with such a task?

Why not AMD? The 8320/8350's 8 cores would be great for upcoming games. Also, AMD's 7970/280x has more vram and a wider memory bus than the 770.

What kind of dollars are you using?

Do you need a copy of Windows? Any peripherals?

I will need a copy of windows but this also does not include other peripherals. I like Nvidia and intel cause I have been with those for the past 5+ years so I trust them and I prefer them. I am looking for a tower with a side window and I am wanting blue leds on the inside also. I am using US dollars

I assume you are from USA, so i used USD as currency.

It is $60 over, but you could save some money on the motherboard and get the Z87X-D3H. Or you could get a R9 280X, which ist $30 cheaper than the gtx 770.

The CPU cooler is just a recommendation because it's from enermax and they have awesome LED fans (blue)

The case is rudimentary, you could invest more if you like to.

Edit: with ^above said, you should definitley get a AMD 8350, the R9 280X and invest more money into a copy of windows and a fractal design define R4 or something like that.

who cares...

Your budget is kinda low, so to get the best value for money I'd really recommend AMD.

I know you like intel/nvidia, but if you try AMD you might find you like that just as much.

It's certainly better value for money

Thank you also for the info for this build. Everything in it seems kinda small, will this last for some years or would it probably burn out?

I have tried AMD and every time I try it nothing changes for me. My friend sticks with AMD and always tries to tell me to go with it also but I just can't when all his AMD/ Radeon stuff keeps burning out.

:o

It shouldn't keep burning out...

What do you mean by burning out?

What does he do to it?

(just because his stuff burns out doesn't mean yours will) :)

He just plays video games and his parts overheat and fry and it happens all the time. I have owned this little laptop of mine that is about 5 years old now and it is finally about to die. It runs intel centrino 2 and Nvidia geforce 9600m GS so its pretty ancient and as a laptop it is finally dying so I have just kinda always liked Nvidia and Intel.

That's weird, they should fry.

He's clearly doing something wrong :P

But ok if you must go nvidia/intel, go for it, but you're not going to get as much performance for your money.

Hope it all goes well :)

So hey I don't plan on doing SLI, would a mini tower still run my system fine with no hiccups for years to come. Something like this

ASUS Z87M-PLUS DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard

and

Fractal Design AArc Mini R2 High Airflow Micro ATX Case (FD-CA-ARC-MINI-R2-B

I don't see any reason why it'd burn out...

All the parts are little not like a normal sized motherboard, That doesn't effect anything like performance right?

It doesn't affect performance. It just has less features like pci-e slots. It'll do everything you need though.
