Some serious corner cutting but +1 for this thing. But I would wait for the 1080 price drops to set in properly before recommending one

You can order a 1080 Windforce for $660ish delivered from Amazon US, would free up some budget to invest into the case

idk

Where is the serious corner cutting? None of these parts are low-quality components, and 120GB is plenty of solid-state space for Windows, a couple of programs, and even a couple of frequently-played games.

Pure Rock trades blows with the H7, 212 EVO, and the Gammaxx 400. Hardly a serious corner cut.

The case is great value. It looks good, is easy to build in, is remarkably sturdy for a cheap case, and is quite akin to a Mini MasterCase 5.

I'd call it a serious corner cut if it was a Z170 board, or if there was no SSD, or if it was a locked i7. Or it only had 8GB of RAM.

I'm tired - I kinda stated that wrongly - I meant like well budgeted. I'm bad at posting when I'm about to sleep, okay

Thanks for the info. I got the PR Lite and the normal PR mixed up, sorry. How does it compare to 212X?

idk

Got it.

On second appraisal, it beats the 212 EVO and 212X, and is probably better than the Gammax 400 and Cryorig H7. It also looks nice and the copper heatpipes at the top are painted silver.
