Hard Drive Configuration Recommendations

Go to solution Solved by bgibbz,

I would install windows on the 4x ssd array, as windows benefits the most from fast storage.

So I have my machine setup and I'm looking at reinstalling Windows and was wondering what peoples thoughts were on hard drive configurations...

I'd have been gaming a decent amount recently and would like to increase my performance there as well as in after effects although that's not a big issue as I don't do a lot with that anymore.

I currently have 4 x SSD's in a RAID 10 setup (Used as my primary drive) and than 1 x SSD (for a scratch drive) I also have a 2TB drive setup for storage.

I'm wondering if I should use another drive as my primary and set the 4 SSD's up as a seperate drive from Windows to install my games onto.

Just looking for some opinions on the matter.

Any input would be appreciated.

I didn't put my other specs on here because I didn't think it would matter but I can list those as well if someone would like to know.

Thanks!

Ryan
