Replace the 1080Ti with an aftermarket one (EVGA, ASUS STRIX or MSI Gaming /Gaming X/Gaming Z) and a watercooler like the H100i v2 or Kraken X52/X62 if you want to OC

Are the 7700K and 6700K the same chip? Hell no. Kaby is known to run significantly hotter stock due to worse TIM

Honestly most tests claim over 15 C but I thought that was a decent average including some of the lower tests I have seen.

No offence to Linus but he isn't the be all and end all of information. Overclockers UK sell pre-binned Kaby i7's and the description states 15c - 30c lower temps using Liquid Metal when using a good cooling solution/psu and motherboard.
