Network Card Not Working

I wasn't able to check the servers BIOS since its not near a monitor but I might later... On my main PC I'm using a Z710-AR board which seems to lack the feature for some stupid reason... I could try a linux os but since it literally wasn't detected even as a unknown device in windows, I doubt it would be seen by linux :) But worth a try.

I have the same mobo. There is a video card browser in the tools section of the mobo. It picks up my connectx-2 card as a generic network adapter.

I recently got my hands on a Intel® PRO/1000 GT Quad Port Server Adapter and have tried using it in two machines one running win10 and another server2016... I have been trying it in the 16x PCIE slot but windows10 fails to see it and the server2016 wont even boot with it in...

Will this card actually work or do I need a server mobo or something else to use it?

I would say try it on a linux livecd and see if it recognizes it. Does your motherboard have a pcie device browser? Can it see the NIC?

My native language is C++

Huh, well then as far as I know the card didnt show up there. I checked there but since it only showed my graphics card and nothing else I thought that it might only be for graphics adapters...
