CPU temp in AIDA 64

I have this weird issue with Both my I7 5500 U (laptop) and my I5 6600K (desktop)

 

When I put both my chips under load they the I7 reaches around 80 degrees celcius and the I5 around 60. The I5 is on watercooling.

 

when I relieve them of the load both drop down 20-30 degrees celcius after a few seconds. Are these the true temps or not?

Those are likely the real temperatures.

It's a laptop VS a desktop, those are exactly the kinds of temps I'd expect.

thx both for anwsering. But are those tempatures after the load period not going down too quickly? I mean 20-30 degrees C in a few seconds seems like much

Nope, that's just electronics for you. It's not like water that takes forever to heat / cool, computer parts react much more quickly.
