SLI GTX 1080 TI Hybrid and 1080 Hybrid

Aloha,

 

I currently have an EVGA 1080 Hybrid in my PC and after EVGA comes out with the Hybrid version of the 1080 TI I was wondering if it will be possible to do an SLI between the two cards?

I'm hoping that the two of them will be able to do high refresh rate 4k. (with a droooooollll Acer Predator XB272-HDR...)

It is not possible to SLI different cards. The 1080 and 1080 Ti aren't even based on the same chip.
