My recent upgrade to my pc has worked pretty good except for one thing my new MSI ARMOR 4gb rx 480 OC seems to not be running at full speeds. I have run some benchmarks in csgo and found i only have an average of 115- 100 fps at 1080p on max. I have a athlon x4 860k but I don't think my gpu is bottlenecked because all my cpu cores were under 70% and adding an overclock didn't help at all.

Settings and res? GPU may not even be pushed to 50% with CSGO

afterburner said that it was jumping between 0 and 100% a lot and my settings were 1080p wiht everything at high multicore rendering on vsync off motion blur off. but when i changed those for testing the performance increase was negligible and within the margin of error

That's quite weird. Even with -threads 4 I haven't seen my 4670K go over 75% much and it barely hits the 4th core, it uses it for loading and that's it.. Even with a 770 it didn't even hit boost clocks with CSGO at ultrawide 1080 maxed.

Fresh install the game and drivers (using DDU). Something's screwy here.

idk

i ran ddu and reinstalled drivers im using -threads 4  and i checked for bios updates for the card and there were no improvements.
