dpi settings

so on my 21.5" 1080p monitor am running 1500dpi on my mouse on my 24" 1440p what dpi should i set it to so it feels the same speed please help

1080/1500 = 0.72

1440/0.72 = 2000 dpi

You can try to move cursor from one edge to second, measure the distance on mousepad and try to get the same movement on the other monitor.

1500 DPI is really high.

~1800 DPI, from this:

• √ (1920^2 + 1080^2) / 21.5 = ~102 PPI
• √ (2560^2 + 1440^2) / 24 = ~122PPI
• ~122/~102 = ~1.194
• 1500 * 1.194 = ~1800.

Lots of rounding off, but you get the idea.

i guess
