Mac OS 8.5 Emulation

So I want to run this game that I got but it's on a .toast file. I tried changing the file to .iso but that failed. Now I'm wondering if I can just get an old OS emulator and run the game off that way.

Yea, sheepshaver will do.

 

I'm not sure about mini vmac, I'm not sure whether it can do OS 8.5.

I think OS 8.5 supports the Motorola cpus that mini vmac is emulating. 

 

 

EDIT : it does not, that was the 1st version not to support Motorola 86k cpus, but earlier versions of OS 8.x will work.
