Dell U2417H

Hello! 

I'm looking for a new monitor and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Dell's U2417H. I checked it's specs and I saw it has 50hz-75hz refresh rate. Does this mean I can select from 60hz and 75hz?

Also, if I connect my mouse and keyboard into the USB on monitor, is there any lag/latency? (I play CS:GO)

Yes, you can choose from those 2 settings. About the peripherals, I wouldn't connect them to the monitor, just to your computer. The more obstacles, the more the chance of latency.

I would check the manual, if available. It could be 75Hz, but at a lower resolution.

 

Also any lag introduced going through the USB hub is going to be minimal at worst.

No, 75 Hz is only available at 1280×1024 or below. At 1920×1080 the max is 60 Hz on that monitor.
