So I know you are saying ewwww COD.  But I think that MW2 and COD4 were good, so I am thinking about picking up MW2 for PC, I played it on Xbox 360 originally, but I was wondering if there mods that fixed the noob tube, as that would be amazing!

No there isn't to my knowledge, MW2 is also one of my favorite Call of Duty games, I just wish it would go on sale on Steam.

(It did during the summer sale but only 25% off)

I imagine the mods would have to be server side but I don't think there are dedicated servers for MW2 PC

(unless you count fourdeltaone which has run into legal issues for the second time in a year or so)

nosir. unless its damageratio that is serverside. anything else. skins hacks whatnot is clientside

Yes but he is looking for a mod that either nerfs/disables the noobtube which would have to be done server side.

Haven't seen any fixed mods but I've seen kicks for using. I love that game....on of my top fast pace fps

Yes but he wouldn't be able to do it then unless he ran his own server which to my knowledge is not supported in the official Steam release of MW2 only in the fourdeltaone version. So the answer is no.

Blame Infinity Ward for not having official dedicated server support. It's not Valve's fault.
