need help, cpu spikes

hey guys im having a problem with my pc currently as it will randomly freeze or stop loading from time to time, i think i traced it back to the fact of these random 100% cpu spikes but i have no idea how to trace it.

 

amd fx 8350

gtx 970

16gb of 166 ddr3 ram

windows 10

 

thats all i got of the top of my head please help

Not the best cpu. I think that´s your problem

my cpu is normally sitting 5-15% usage more if gaming and this has only started happening lately, so that makes me think something is poping up and i need to know how to trace it

task manager is your friend. Sort by CPU usage. If the numbers don't seem right it's a service. So open up resource monitor and sort the CPU tab by CPU usage.

Just gonna say the fx cpu isnt the best. Have a look at like intel i5 or even i7 if thats an option

i know its not the best but its what i have and im trying to figure out the random spikes, astrosheen im on there but i cant figure out how read what program is the culprit without watching it 24/7. is there a report or anything i can generate?
