New PC build keeps restarting randomly

Mezalex

While going through the install of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, the computer did randomly restart and did not think much of it.

However, After having Windows 10 fully installed I had thought everything was all fine. Instead, the computer would decide to restart out of the blue with no error message appearing and go back to the login screen. So far all I have tried is updating my BIOS (3020) for the motherboard and download new drivers for the GPU, neither of which helped.

Specs:

CPU: Intel i7-6700k

MOBO: ASUS Z170i Pro gaming (BIOS 3020)

GPU: Saphhire Nitro OC RX480 8g

Ram: 2X8g DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000 MHz

Storage:Samsung 850 evo ssd 250 gig

             Western Digital Blue 1tb hardrive

PSU: EVGA SuperNova GQ 650W

Have you checked to make sure your CPU is not overheating?

The cpu seems to be at normal temperatures.
