Alienware Area 51

I currently have an alienware area 51, with a core i7 980x and gtx 1060, 12gb ddr3, has anyone had experience with this case i love the case holds 6 drives and is well built, could i upgrade and replace with newer gen i7 and board, ram, ok with this case and keep the lighting effect working etc?, would it be worthwhile upgrading and see much improvements to a 7700K,

If the Motherboard is standard ATX you should be fine, I'd also suggest getting a newer power supply at the same time.

Why do people still like this case?!?! Yes you should be able to replace everything in it

There is a build log of someone upgrading and modding their alienware area 51 case. Why don't you check that out and ask the op any questions. Btw he also uploaded on this forum as well.
