CPU & Motherboard incompatible?

Hey all,

So I didn't think of this before and purchased G4560 cpu and Asus h110m-A/M.2 set from NCIX. Turns out some of the older h110m motherboards do not have Bios Ver 3016 needed to run G4560. So I am looking for some suggestions on what I can do to get fix it if the one I get turns out to be older one ( I haven't got the delivery yet).

PS. I currently don't have an older CPU to flash the bios with. IF nothing I might have to buy an one (really don't want to because that will just be a waste). I read about getting a cheap GPU and using that to post here in one of the forums, does that work? Has anyone had any luck with it? Thanks. Any suggestions would be welcome. Also pretty much a newbie here so dumb it down a little please. Thank You!

Just hunt ebay for someone selling a super cheap LGA 1151 CPU, probably one that was bough for the sole purpose of upgrading the BIOS; buy it, flash and then re-sell.

No. You need a CPU, not a GPU.

No. You need a CPU, not a GPU.

Hello again,

So I ended up cancelling the order entirely, because I would need to flash the bios of Asus H110M-A/M.2 motherboard for it work with G4560 cpu. I would still like to get the G4560 cpu but I'm hoping to get a mobo that works with it out of the box (not needing to flash it). Things I need in a mobo: cheap price, ddr4 support (2133 MHz or higher), and hdmi slot. Thats it. Any suggestions? Thanks
