Same as kaby lake.

Coffee Lake's chipset is not announced, and I doubt it will be LGA-1151.

No, you probably won't.

The fact that it is touted by the media as "Could be LGA 1151" does not mean that it is and will be, but at the moment, here are reasons to believe it might be so:

Z370 chipset boards are rebranded Z270 based on manufacturing leaks, and all Coffee Lake Engineering samples were tested on Z270 boards thus far.

That being said, they've stapled CPU's onto a different chipset before to do engineering sample testing, and manufacturing "leaks" aren't reliable.

I have heard rumours that when coffee lake does come out it will be z370 but will be LGA 1151v2 and knowing Intel the way we all do I wouldnt put it past them trying this stunt. As for someone saying a 7700k is a polished 6700k I would beg to differ. Yes the clock speed is faster on a 7700k but everyone 1 man and his dog knows its gets hot as f**k unless you start delidding then i would say its more polished than a 6700k.
