why does my prop hunt game lag with taunts

why does my prop hunt game lag with taunts i not sure why but when i play prop hunt the game just lags for like 2 seconds and i get killed because i can't play, im playing on my GE60 0ND and the game is on my HDD and its set to allways spin, i have no idea why its plugged in and everything 

 

any help would be great  thanks

You should probably leave your HDD alone and let it spin down when idling.

 

Also go into steam and verify the game files and delete all custom maps/skins/sounds.

I only switch it to High performance when playing games, other then that i turn it to spin down mode, and i have verified the files but im stll not sure why i freeze for like 2 seconds in games
