I have personally had a hard time with PCI. So many versions and types! I have had a hard time with compatibility! This is a place for posts and other such things related to PCI.aa39feca9018c85dcae9d2b176eda6d6cc37aa4d

All PCI-E x16 are all backwards and foward compatible, so you can get a PCIE 3.0 GPU in a 2.0 but it will just run at PCIE 2.0 speeds same for the other way you can get a PCIE 2.0 Card in a PCIE 3.0 slot but it will run on the lower speed.

My problem is now, I have Legacy PCI Slots on my junk board and I want to find compatible graphics cards for it.

:S I had the same thing on my old MSI motherboard and my GPU didn't boot until I set it to Legacy + (Something i don't really remember) and disabled safe boot, then it booted but windows just killed itself and I had to reinstall than i run it like that for a couple of years until the motherboard died. You'll need to watch some youtube and see what people tried with the same motherboard that you have.

I don't have a card that would fit.
