My laptop is really slow, why?

Hi everyone I hope you doing great! 

I have an issue, my laptop is really slow and idk why really, already defragment the hdd, I clean the laptop, change the thermal paste, update windows, eliminate most of the startup programs, clean the hard drive in general, check for disk errors, windows errors and also verify that it doesn't have malware or virus in general and still it's kinda laggy the especifications are:

HP Pavilion DV6-6c75la
8GB of RAM 
AMD A8 3520m
AMD Radeon HD 6620G
Hard Drive 500GB

Also the temperature is nice is between 47 to 51 c°

CPU and Hard Drive. Both of those are shit. Invest in either a better laptop or an ssd.

Haha I'm kinda in a really tight budget  and in general the computer was great a few years ago, but I don't understand why is so laggy, it may be the HDD? maybe it's so old and it doesn't work great anymore?

Buy an SSD, SSD's are great carry-overs when you do decide to ditch the laptop.

 

Loading times and everything is based off of the Drive that you have and since laptops are mobile HDDs have a better chance of dying since you're moving them around a lot and could be throwing them. Even soft throws onto a bed can be bad for a HDD.

i agree, SSDs are now more affordable then a few years ago
