Now or later?

Go to solution Solved by RedSpade,

It'll all come with time, they'll probably show off new motherboards just before ryzen 5 launches then cheaper ones yet again with ryzen 3. Even if you don't overclock I believe the X chips do it automagically on B350 and X370 motherboards.

should I wait for the 4c/8t line of Ryzen CPUs (Ryzen 3/5) or get myself an FX-8350 or an Intel alternative? I hate team blue because of the trouble they caused AMD in the past. Still, I get frustrated on how my A10-5800k bottlenecks my RX 480. Any suggestions?

If you get an FX-8350 you'll probably regret it and you don't want to get intel so just wait. Hopefully it won't be too long, and if it helps I'm waiting for the R5 to drop

that settles it then. lol. any confirmed news as to when any budget mobos are gonna come to light? most AM4 mobos that Asus, Gigabyte, ASRock, etc. released are gaming mobos and I'm a very budget oriented builder (perfectly happy with 1080p/60fps) so I don't really need gaming mobos as those are well, not exactly budget friendly. I also almost never overclock lol
