Looking into wireless headphones as I'll be spending the next couple of years boarding with some friends, and it'd be nice to have something I can just walk around with, or lay on my bed.

I've looked at quite a few reviews, and I've narrowed it down to a few different models.

Just seeing if anyone here has used any of the models and has had any qualms with them.

I'm leaning more towards the Crossfade's because of their customization feature, but all of the headphones listed above tempt me in one way or another.

Use:

  • Movies, YouTube.
  • Music - A mix of everything, leaning more towards rock, house, light dubstep.
  • Indoor, at home use.

Needs:

  • I'd prefer it had a more premium feel. Good metals, leather, etc.
  • Replaceable batteries would be a plus.
  • Good bass. I'd prefer something more bass heavy than neutral.
  • Plush ear cups.
  • Nicely padded headband.
  • Over ear. Not interested in on ear.

Other:

  • It doesn't need to have any portable aspects. Folding, cases, etc.
  • I hate cloth ear cups, so leather/leatherette only.

*tips hat*

I really love the Momentum's, although i actually own a pair of Sony's, but after trying out a pair at a store they sounded great. They have a really comfortable fit, except for the hard leather head band, that really bothers me.

Great sound quality though.

Yeah, looking at the headband I figured it'd be a little too stiff. It doesn't exactly look comfortable, which is a definite necessity for me. No point in having something that sounds amazing but I can only listen to for short spats :P

I might have to slash those off the list!

Yeah, when I was looking for my headphones, I was tossing up between The Momentum's and Sonys MDR 1RNC's. I ended up going for the Sony's, and they sound awesome, a really well balanced sound stage, although they are not wireless.
