PC won't start while USB hub (powered from the wall) is connected

My problem is exactly like this one, but there's no solution.

Just as the title states, my PC won't start when my USB hub, powered from the wall, is connected to my PC.
It does boot up when the USB hub is powered by the PC. The computer is also fine when the USB is powered externally after the boot.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

I think it is a security measure to avoid frying a mobo is some power is detected on usb port. The saberthooth series for exemple are protected that way. It part of the  “Class K”, “Class H” and “QML”  used within the context of DSCC’s military specification system...

Simple rules:

- If it works, dont update it.

- You don't know how, just do it, you will learn.

- Test, restest, test again, and maybe it will do it.

your mobo is a  Military Class 5  witch means this is a normal behavior

either its doing as stratege has said which is very possible but it may also be that its trying to boot off of that usb device check your usb initialization settings in the uefi bios and make sure they are set to partial initialization i had a sd card reader plugged into my rear io with no sd card that wouldnt let my system boot

Oh.  This is the first time I've heard of this.  Thanks for the info.
