I'm looking at watercooling my cpu in my Silverstone SG09 the simple reason is because I want as much intake air to hit the gpu AND keep the pc quiet.

Watercooling is the only thing I haven't conquered because I thought it was a waste of time, I've grown up and see the benifits. Also I'm wondering about power consumption?

Do it.

I'd get a AIO liquid cpu cooler like the swiftech h220 or the corsair h100i. Preferably the former.

Stick some noctua (or other quiet) fans on it and you'll be ready to go :)

Hope this helps

I watercooled my CPU but I kind of regretted it. If you already have a high end gpu and other components, go for it. I did it when I was still with a GTX 460 so I didn't have as much money to spend on a new GPU at that point. I have a 280x now though so I'm all good. If you have the money, do it, It looks badass, is quiet, cool, and Is really fun to do. Also, the components that you buy for the loop, will pretty much last forever. As long as you get a good pump like a D5, and a good cpu block, You should be able to use them for several builds down the road. Good luck

If you are talking about AIO loops, I would just get a high end air cooler at that point.

Good to know, I'm now upgrading my gpu so I want good airflow and some of the air coolers are as expensive as the watercoolers.
