Hey guys,I don't know what would be the appropriate forum for this post so I selected off-topic

So lately I came across Virtualization (I wasn't aware about it at all) and I kinda liked the whole idea of emulating a whole OS on a Linux based PC.

I wanted to run the Mac OS X on my PC and it turns out AMD FX processors are not supported by VMware or oracles virtual box.I mean I couldn't find a proper tutorial on how to Virtualize OS X on an AMD FX processor.

The tutorials I tried weren't of any help cause the boot image was optimized only for Intel processors... and my VM would always crash while booting up the os.

So if anyone of you guys know about how to Virtualize OS X (El Capitan or Seirra) on AMD FX processors, please let me know I will really appreciate your help :)

Btw I am on FX 8320 black edition (just Incase info was needed)

Hackintosh post aren't allowed here because it's a form of piracy. Also, as of the moment macOS only supports Intel chips.

Community Standards:

Spoiler
  • Talking about piracy in general, broad details, is acceptable however the posting or discussing pirated/hacked/cracked or otherwise nefariously obtained content is not. This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed.

Hackintosh threads aren't allowed on the forum (but who really cares)

Niresh is your best option, it's a modded kernel so that you can run native OSX, even on AMD.

They're not allowed because Hackintosh is technically piracy as in the EULA for Mac OSX, you are to only install the software on certified Apple hardware.

We do not discuss pirated content on this forum.

Google it. There are many other forums out there that can help you. We're not one of them in this scenario.

We don't assist people with hackintosh here, in accordance with the community standards.  If you read Apple's terms, they make it clear it must be run on Apple hardware, whether it's in a VM or natively.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
