I've got a Galaxy S7 that I want to play GBA Emulators (namely Pokemon Emerald) and Minecraft Pocket Edition, but I want a controller, preferably one with a clamp I can fix the phone to the controller with so it's like a handheld console.

What should I get? Does it have to be expensive?

I got one of these m.8bitdo.com/Products/nes30.html. Worked really well. You could use the ps4/ps3 and wii controllers wirelessly with a bit of work (dont know if bluetooth stacks are still borked on android)
