Posted March 7, 2017 Theres the asus Asus PB278Q and Asus PB277Q The 278Q has a ips display at around 40 dollars more with a 60hz refresh rate. The 277Q is different with a non ips display and a 75hz refresh rate. Which should I go with as if I overclock the 277q i might be able to overclock it and get a higher hz. Posted March 7, 2017 Definitely the 278Q. 60-75Hz is a small difference but IPS is a huge thing, especially if you can try to overclock it. Posted March 7, 2017 the PB278Q is a 1440p 60hz IPS panel. as someone who has been using IPS for years, i cannot go back to TN. it's almost unbearable the PB277Q is a 1440p 75hz TN panel (for some reason i'm reading conflicted reports of it being VA panel).
