So recently I found this: 

3.00GHz E5450 Quad Core QC Intel Xeon Processor SLBBM SLANQ

 

And i was very interested to see if I could make a budget little gaming pc with this CPU. Does anyone know a mobo that supports this? And one with a PCI slot for a budget gpu? Id like to see what I can do, any advice or tips?

So, first of all, the processor is not cheap. It's a Xeon, so it will be both expensive (if new) and for servers, not for gaming. My advice: don't use it.

As cheap as used E5450s are right now (~ $ 20,- on ebay), there's not much at risk. If you're not scared of modding, there are some LGA775 boards to play with. An example would be the Asus P5Q-E, worth $ 99,- back in 2015.
