Gaming resolutions

Is gaming at a resolution of 7680x1080 a good idea on a rx 460 if I play just rocket league or should  i play at 5120x1440. If you have a feeling I shouldn't play at those resolutions do you think 2560x1440 would be playable still?

I'd stick with good ol' 1920x1080p with the rx 460.

yup.. RX 460 is max 1080p / 60 Hz. You will already struggle with that (target: 60 fps), and you will have to reduce settings.

Anything below 1080p is so old, you should not even consider it anymore. At all.

 

If you want to go up 

 

1440p.. you might try. But you will have maybe 25-45% less fps~ than on 1080p~.

Possible, that you can have smooth gameplay, if you reduce settings enough.

 

RX 460 is still the lowest low-entry GPU.
