I had a search of the forum but it seems typing wildland and cpu into the search box brings up 25 million results.

Did anyone else have an issue with 100% CPU when playing wildlands?

My PC plays everything else fine but I had this issue with Wildlands, would like to purchase it and hoping it was just a bug....

What to say, it is Ubisoft, you gonna need at least an i7 to run this game.

If I was playing solo it ran fine, no issues with FPS, nothing.

Was when I tried to co-op I really noticed the problem. Checked and saw CPU maxing out.

When you go online you will face a lot more use from the CPU since there is far more stuff sync with the other players, like try playing BF1 SP or CSGO only with bots locally, it will tax a lot less the CPU, also an i5 760 really is not up for the task of Ubisoft bad optimized latest titles.

I'm able to play anything else online, R6 Siege, BF4 etc etc. Was literally just wildlands.

I know my CPU is old but this is the first game to date I've ever had any trouble with. lol

Keep in mind that this game is newer than the others listed, it is only natural mate, I know it might sound disappointing but you will reach the wall of games that the CPU are not enough at some point and this is happening now...

Core i5-2400S 2.5GHz  - minimum Intel CPU suggested

Core i5-6400 2.7GHz  - recommended Intel CPU

Core i7-3770 4-Core 3.4GHz  - Desireable Intel CPU for max performance

See? you're already quite behind.

Noooooooooooooooooo! Too much emotional attachment to my poor CPU haha.

I will read up on Ubi's refund policy, see if I can try the game out. Maybe they've ironed out the bug....big maybe.

I did see in their "known issues" post that they are working on it, apparently.

Thanks for the input :)

Hi guys!!! Do you think a i5 7500 would make it run fine? B/c I'm confused about i5/i7 since some i5 are better than some i7 so when you see a i7 in the requirements you actually can play with some i5s so, what about this one? (I'm running it with a 1080 as GPU if it matters)

i am currently running a i5 7600k with an msi 1060 6gb and can only play the game at 720p on low without it crashing. Never played less than 1080p on high on other games, just this one. CPU is at 100% until it crashes if i go any higher.

I'm running a i5 7500 msi 1070 quicksilver 8gb overclocked to 2ghz and I'm still pegging at 100% cpu usage and getting random freezes despite the benchmark saying I'm only using 60-80% I've dropped quality to very high n made no difference  dissabling controller has improved things a bit also read that moving the save file to a different hdd helps with the lockups, but all in all very disappointed with the games performance ATM I should be able to hit ultra with no issues I'd have thought!
