so im in need of a new cpu, as ive recently started playing battlefield 1 and recording my aging amd fx-6300 is struggling to keep up. i plan on giving all my old parts to my father (which includes 6300, asrock extreme r 2.0 and gskill 16gb ram at 2333mhz). on my graphics side i have a amd rx 470 with a 600w psu. i have around 250 for the whole set (ram, mobo and cpu). im willing to listen to anyones suggestions and dont prefer amd or intel. just havig trouble finding the best bang for buck solution. or if anyone thinks i should wait for the rest of ryzen to come out please tell my why.  Thank you also forot to mention ill be playing games at 1080p and plan on recording on atleast 720p with a target framerate of 60hz

Just now, Ultra_Man52 said:

$250 is a rough place to get all of those. Maybe i3-7100, some h270 mobo, and budget ddr4 ram? Or might want to drop down to skylake and do i3-6100. Also might wanna try craigslist, /r/hardwareswap, or classifieds here.

yeah im completely open to using used parts so its definitely a option

You won't get much, or really anything decent, with 250 for the main components. I put together something closer to 400.
