need an upgrade :/

for Christmas (very long time away) I know I need to upgrade I'm seeing crazy bottlenecks due to my cpu I need something good for gaming rendering vids and capturing gameplay (I need to probably replace motherboard processor and ram sadly) for $250-300 of course sales and stuff happen I just need some stuff to look at and make a list between different stuff I liked to be prepared plz leave suggestions on what

Well by then Ryzen r5 should be out and optimized, but if not (UNLIKELY) go for a 7700k
