7700k not posting!!!

So i recently upgraded my CPU, mother board and ram. I installed it all and I don't get a post code with ram installed, and a few beeps without it. It wont post at all with the ram installed. I have a 7700k, a z170m plus and 2 dimms of 8GB GSkill Ripjaws V ram. PLZ HELP!

Have you got the BIOS update?

Your board most likely didn't have BIOS update. which mobo exactly?

Board may need a BIOS update to support Kaby Lake. Unfortunetaly it does not have BIOS USB Flashback so you will either need to borrow a Skylake CPU to update the BIOS or take it into a PC shop to see if they will use a test CPU (if they have one) to update it for you.

It's hard to actually find an Asus board now that doesn't come with Flashback.

Believe it or not the most popular board Z170-A doesn't have one :(

It really is a great feature.  Even with the right CPU, I still update via BIOS Flashback because it just too damn easy.
