Hello Guys,

This is my first time PC Build and I am looking for a future-proof PC that I can upgrade down the line. I made this PC here :https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TRRXd6

Could you tell me if there will be any troubles while I try to build and if everything is in check? Thanks in advance.

Nothing really jumps out at me here, in terms of sub-optimal choices.

I can't really call this a "future-proofed" PC though, as you'll probably wind up upgrading that Pentium soon enough if you care about modern AAA gaming.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

I would get a higher wattage psu, maybe a better gpu, and a better processor. I think it would be good, just the processor is what would hold the future-proof quality back.

I think i'll invest into an i5, a 480 and a better PSU. Thanks

I have now made this part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4Q9Pcc

By the way, I am only getting this case since I can't bring cases to Brazil and this is really cheap here (about 60 dollars, which is cheap for a case in Brazil)

The Tesseract is a pretty decent case for the price.

Nowadays technology is advancing very fast and future proof PC is not possible unless you spend a whopping 1500$ which is kind of bare minimum. So, instead of trying to building a future proof pc try building a PC which is having room for upgrades.

Try going with something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pYBYhq

with a bios update you can throw a kaby lake processor. Here there are 2 RX 470s in crossfire which increases the amount 20-30$ more than your part list but is more powerful than RX 480 or GTX 1060. If you want a single gpu solution then go with a 1060 which saves a couple of bucks.
