Improve the quote feature!

-TesseracT-

I would prefer if very long quotes were of a maximum visible length, with a scroll bar so that you have to scroll to see the end of the quote. That way large quotes won't have to occupy such an enormous part of the post/page.

Auto-hiding quote after x lines would be nice, same style as with sigs.

^^^^ That's my post ^^^^
<-- This is me --- That's your scrollbar -->
vvvv Who's there? vvvv

 Not necessarilly as someone could just use a quote if they wanted their spoiler to be 'spoiled', so to speak ;)

Quote

You don't need to quote someone to write in a quote :)

I definitely agree though, long quotes can consume a large amount of space, particularly in news articles and 'debate' threads

Hey, I have a perfect example where a scrolling spoiler would have saved a bit of time :P

As you see, I had to use 3 spoilers within a spoiler to prevent the spoiler becoming extremely long :P

Oh yes definitely a scrolling spoiler would be awesome :D, I thought you meant a few lines of the spoiler being previewable while it's minimised, like with long signatures.
