Which one.. not really asking for rebuilds just asking Which one you would prefer.

This one: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CODEMaster00/saved/#view=xfdt6h

(less modern video output than the other one selected, 1GB less of VRAM, and 0.09 slower than the next listing, but .. quiet fans.)

OR:

This one: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CODEMaster00/saved/#view=PFZjXL

(3 DP, 1 HDMI on the 1060 compared to the 1050ti with 1 DP and 1 HDMI (not including DVI since it may as well be dead by now.), 1GB more of VRAM and 0.09Ghz faster, but .. not quiet fans,)

Personal advice regardless of the limitation...

G4400 -> G4560

ASUS -> ASRock

And in case of 1050 vs 1060, I prefer 1060.

Thanks for not spamming me with a entirely new build.
In seriousness thanks for the advice, any reason for ASRock over ASUS?, variety of mATX or what?

In case of the high-end or mainstream mobos, ASUS is bit better than ASRock but in case of the low-end boards, quality of ASUS is not really admittable.

But I answered your question. You asked which one would you prefer. I said neither.

Saying neither would be an answer, pasting a different build altogether seems like spam., or maybe mentioning reasons as to why neither rather than neither and paste something without even bothering to put it in a spoiler.

But yea, thanks for the valuable input.

Fine,

NEX PSU is not really a good PSU at all

You are overpaying for the case. You could have gone with something cheaper and invest money on other stuff

Gigahertz doesn't tell how good a card is, same as amount of VRAM. Right now all benchmarks point to the fact that

1060 3gb < 480 4gb < 1060 6gb or 480 8gb

You don't really need 16GB of RAM

Would you have a PC that run quite or PC that performs good? Do you really care when you game?

At idle it remains almost silent as GPU fan speed doesn't run and cpu cooler isn't loud too

G4400 is really bad for any task as it is a dual core with no hyperthreading

Oh and it's 2017 now. You don't need a disc drive too

Thanks for the legit input, also 16GB of RAM for many many chrome tabs/windows.
As for PSU.. yea I know they are annoying to build with.. have built an ATX in a 750D using NEX and an ITX in a 250D (never doing that again.. god big hands is a pain with motherboard screws.. let alone an ITX Cube..) using a GS their wire "braiding" is so stiff and blech.

Also building this for a friend who "games" on Minecraft which could make use of RAM, and also watches YouTube and reads fanfic the most often, the only steam games she has more than 20hours in are:

Sakura Clicker : 136 hrs on record

Stardew Valley : 57 hrs on record

Forget Me Not: My Organic Garden : 23 hrs on record

Borderlands 2 : 20 hrs on record

Spoiler

And she has a decent library, she has Borderlands, All the Don't Starve games, Far Cry series, all the BioShock games, Spelunky and Rocket League.. the rest are Graphic Novels.. (8/8 Emily is Away btw, screw Brad, Screw Emily, go for Emma!)

side side note: she also has all the borderlands dlc so.. y'know.. not like she can only get 7.0 hrs out of Borderlands.. I played more than that when at my friends house (who owned an xbox 360) for the weekend.. like you can get quite some gameplay out of the Borderland franchise.. especially with the DLC..

Also she just wants something silent since when she was here for a week she wasn't a fan of the 750D on the side of my desk acting as a divider to the people who walk into my office door with 4 AF140L Corsair fans that move good air without being Deltas (was really tempted to buy 3 Delta PFB1212UHE fans.. 2 intake, 1 exhaust.. listen to them whir up when booting up would be so nice... but alas.. the voltage on those things is nuts.)

link to them:

Spoiler

(they are nice for 5$ fans.. y'know in case a blade brakes on one of the two stock ones with your 750D since you maybe put a pencil in there or something.. or maybe you got more since they are discreet and you have a dust filter over them and plenty of air cans ready)

You must be kidding me right??

@STRMfrmXMN will tell you more why not to go with NEX PSU

You are paying almost 200 dollars for fans and aesthetics. WHY??

If you are that paranoid about noise get cheap aftermarket cooler like 212 Evo and reduce the fan speed
