Kings Quest

I have tried to talk to many about playing Kings Quest on the PC when I was young (on my Windows 3.1!) and nobody seems to know what I'm talking about lol. Am I crazy for thinking this game was the shit back in the day?! And has anybody else played it?

Yeah, Kings Quest was awesome. It's how I learned my awesome typing skills. Plus the fact I didn't have it in Windows, I had DOS.

I loved King's Quest as a kid, beat it a few times on our old Amstrad before we got our first windows machine.  Also enjoyed all the rest of the Sierra games we had like Space Quest, Police Quest and Black Cauldron

I'm very aware of the game, and I've always wanted to play it. Those old adventure games seem so much fun

I remember Kings Quest! The only one I ever made any real progress in was the fifth one though. Those games were cruelty embodied in 3.5 floppy disk form. I always preferred Space Quest and the LucasArts Adventure games.

 

PS The new Kings Quest game just ain't the same.

One of the first pc games I seen was Kings Quest VI on my dad's friends pc and I was hooked, I believe I was about 4yrs old, I was so happy when I got my Compaq preloaded with Kings Quest VII!

King's Quest are great games. AGD Interactive has made some very awesome remakes of KQ I - III that are well worth playing:

I loved Kings Quest games, brings back fond memories. I was also into the original Sim City game, and the other Quest games. The original Civilation game was good, also there was a star/alien game I loved too.

Simcity was great, did you ever play SimTower??

The best game was Railroad Tycoon, loved that game too.
