depends - what model of Pentium?

For a Pentium 2 350 it is a definite "NO" to both questions.

It will not cause the 1050 to be a bottleneck, and will not support DDR4

What do you wanna do with this pc? Because I think the amd equivalent of the 1050 is much better (rx 460 I think)

The gtx1050 is slighty better. However, I suggest you to choose the cheaper option.
