i have a circular 140mm fan and a smaller square 120mm fan, the 140mm is in the middle of both radiators, do i leave that one there and use the square 120mm or do i use the 140mm??

Put the two from nzxt in the front ,as you have on your picture, and put the 140mm from noctua at the top

Hi there, ive almost completed my build and my cpu is on its way so in the mean time ive set up the 2 fans that came with this nzxt s340 case at the front to pull air in through the front, I have my psu fan pointed up towards the shroud, and all thats left is to put my noctua nh-d14/fan cooled over compensator 10,000 into place after I get my cpu in. problem is I dont know which way to orientate it?!? do I face it so the fans push the air out the back, (the back of the pc will be pretty close to a wall!) or should I orientate it so it pushes the air out the top? P.S sorry for bad drawing skills!

i'd say, the two from nzxt in the front as intakes, which you have. put the cpu cooler with the fan blowing towards the back and mount the noctua fan at the top as an exhaust. that's how i have it in my case

you also say that the psu fan is pointed up to the shroud. do you mean it is also on that side? you will kill your psu if you do that. have the psu with tha fan facing down

how would i go about mounting it the top? both d14 fans are twice the thickness as the nzxt fans so the case screws probably wont work...

aha they do indeed, thank you very much!!! one more question though. do i leave the large circle fan in the middle and mount the small one to the top or vise versa???

Either is fine. Keeping it consistent with front to back for airflow is hard to go wrong with.

No, they're not. If you're going to move fans off of the cooler, moving it to the rear for exhaust would be good.
