i so found this syma x5c explorers 2.4g 4ch rc quadcopter. is there a way like i can bump up its motors to make it fly higher and change the battery size to fly longer?

A Syma x5c is in no way meant to go super fast but the battery is entirely. Check out bang good. They have batteries of all sizes. I'm pretty sure the Syma x5c has a 3.7v 1s but I would just check. I've seen people put 1000mah batteries into the Syma x5c. The motors might be possible but I wouldn't attempt it. It would be very easy to break something during the upgrade and the higher amp draw from the motors may blow up the ESC, flight controller, battery. Just don't do it. I hope I helped!

idk i read online that itl burn rotors

No the ammount of voltage might (how many cells) but the storage is in mah, you can have a 100000000mah 1s battery with a motor and it will work it will just last a very long time. The c rating is also the maximum amount of amps the battery can deliver, but just because a battery is 100mah and 2c doesn't mean it will give out 0.2A current if the motor won't draw that.

I have been in the RC hobby for over 5 years now and I currently work at a local hobby store in Denver. I also manage the Castle View multi-GP chapter(A chapter of a racing drone organization.) As the other members of the forum have posted it is not practical to upgrade your syma. It is posable but you would basically be installing a different drone inside of the shell. If you are interested in getting into drone racing or just want to get something faster to fly around I would be happy to help you pick out parts from online distributors such as amazon or eBay and be able to tell you whether they are compatible or not. I am new to the LTT form so if you or anyone else is interested in getting into drone building please message me directly.
