Only things that stand out to me at this point are the tiny hard drive and the GPU.

 

GTX 1050 TI is much better than a 950 and it will last you for years if you only do light gaming.

RX 470 > 1050Ti unless he needs CUDA,

Also if that is a Rev 1 CX 430 I'd highly suggest replacing it. Your CPU could be upgraded to a 4790k or wait and see what Ryzen R5 offers in the next month or so

Yeah, I definitely was considering a bigger SSD, hard drive, or both.

Not sure which rev it is. It's a CX 430M with a black and green label, not the newest one with the black and white label. Only problem with a 4790K is I would need a new motherboard and CPU cooler to go with it.
