my new z170a gaming pro carbon motherboard is sending a static like sound though my headset I've tested the headset and have no idea what is wrong when playing CSGO the higher my fps is the worse the sound is do i need to RMA my motherboard or did i just do something wrong with the build 

CPU: i7 6700k

GPU:gtx 1060

motherboard:z170A gaming pro carbon

RAM: (2)crucial 4gb sticks 2133

It's probably coil whine causing noise through your audio output. 

 

What's your PSU?
