Yeah that's not the most useful response is it? He didn't ask what he could have for more money he asked will this run GTA V mid graphics 60 fps? Yes it absolutely would.

Take caution building now though the 1080Ti should cause a reshuffle in the NVidia 10 series pricing.

EDIT: Don't go and spend 100+ on windows.... get a perfectly legit OEM key off kinguin. OEM just means you are the manufacturer which technically you are.

EDIT 2: That PSU looks sketchy, never cheap out on the PSU. 650W would be ideal but couldn't find that on part picker AU. Also added SSD for quick boot times, all Pcs should have SSDs now.

It seems like your a while off actually getting this PC, maybe post a thread closer to the time. Prices change, things come out. Much of this information people are giving you might not be relevant when you do have enough money.

i'd recommend this and get your OS from reddit for $20-30 USD:

1080Ti launch should change the price of all Nvidia 10 series GPUs so hold off to get best value. You may be able to squeeze a 1070 in at the same price or very near to what a 1060 is today. Also 1060 > 480 so don't be tempted to drop that down for very little saving.

That is one generous grandma! Fair enough if you think it is affordable soon.

the 1060 isn't better than the 480, they trade blows.

Mostly yes the PSU just seems a bit weak, and as the PSU is the heart of your machine "pumping" power to all the other components I strongly advise not cheaping out here. Look at EVGA G2 or G3 series as good foundation, 650+ W

what the...

the gtx 1060 6gb doesn't need a 650w psu to work, even a good 400w psu is more than enough. the g2/3 is good but it is quite expensive, cheaper power supplies like the corsair cx450/550m and XFX TS is more than good enough quality and wattage.

Why run at 60FPS only? The GTX 1070 will run 90+ FPS and wil be able to play AAA titles with no problems and will drop in price eventually cause of the 1080ti. The PSU is a good one and he doesn't need a 650W one, he can run 2x GTX 1070 with one 550W PSU.. The windows Home isn't 100+ its 30 dollars lol.

looking at your build, you overspent too much on the mobo, cooler and graphics card while not getting a good psu and wireless adaptor. a cheap h110 mobo would have done the job just as well as the b250 mobo you picked unless you truly needed 4-5 more pci-e slots. having an aftermarket cooler on an unlocked cpu is overkill, the stock cooler would have cooled the cpu just fine and a cheaper gtx 1060/rx 480 like the RX 480 GTR and galax gtx 1060 OC would cost $60 less and be just as good. get the corsair cx450m or xfx ts 550w instead of the VS.
