I was wondering what you guys considered a good budget cpu, nothing more than 150$ USD.

If you're not waiting for Ryzen 3 (which will take a while to arrive), then see if you can snag a haswell or skylake i5 (maybe used) for that price.

Why? It does. Can you tell how much you'd like to spend on a mobo too, because you can pay a bit more for an i5 haswell/skylake and pay less on a mobo for example

I should probably rephrase my thread, this more of a "Just for fun" thread. I would of put it in build planning if I needed help with my build.

i3 for sure out of those two. The i5 would be terrible for games at such a low clock speed.
