Nexus 6 still worth buying in 2017

So long story short I've been looking for a new phone as my Oneplus 3 is smashed. I'm not really new to the Nexus series I've owned all of the previous gen phones before the 6, and I loved them all. I found a Nexus 6 32gb in great condition with a case and tempered glass screen cover, the owner is asking $180.

 

I'm not much of a game player on my phone or anything, just music, communication and some work stuff.

 

What are your opinions? Should I look at other phones or is this a good phone for the money?

yup, especially with rom community, FYI nexus 6 will receive security update until 2018.

Are those the security updates through google?

I would imagine other devs, for new roms would include them after that date.

with custom roms no security update only on stock.  if you do put on a rom like Lineage os, it gets a new update every week.

galaxy neuxus was released in 2011 and it still has rom support also nexus s was released in 2010 and that still has rom support.
