why 2 different types of monitors that are the same size, resolution & refresh rate?

seems like the "surround" monitors are more expensive than the main.

also why build an x99 system now?

the update cycle is about 3 years and the chipset is currently 3 years old.

if i were only in the planning stages of a $8k system  i would wait til august to see what the enthusiast platform looks like then.

There are two different monitors because: two of them were for gaming,   TN panels with a very high response rate, and the other is an ips panel for graphical work and other things. I'm not planning on 8k. Also this build that i posted has been updated, i just haven't posted it here just yet. I have just two monitors in the updated build,
