Hey Guys,

Here's my rig:

i7-4790k

MSI z97 gaming 5

Asus ROG Strix Gtx 1070

Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz 11-13-13-31

550w psu

H115i

Background:

It runs stable on aida 64 stress test for an hour with the CPU @ 4.7ghz on 1.325 volts and ram set to non-xmp @ 1600mhz.

Issue(s):

When I enable xmp for my ram, and set its frequency to 2400mhz, I will BSOD at about 1-2minutes of running aida 64. I have tried 2200mhz and 2133mhz, and it will still crash within 1-2 minutes timeframe. When I set my cpu's clock speed to 4.4ghz, the ram was able to go to 2200mhz without crashing on Aida 64 running for about 20 minutes, but even on 4.4ghz, the ram set at 2400mhz will still crash after 5-10 minutes.

Could it be the ram that needs to be changed? Power supply? Or am I just not doing something.

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Please and thank you,

Andrew
